Specific recomendation :
The Hybrid responds up to 100kg N /ha in dry season.Nitrogen applied in equal 4 splits at basal,21 DAT,PI and panicle emergence stage was found more beneficial for grain filling.Potash also should beapplied in two splits,755 in basal and 25% at PI which help in reducing spikelet sterility.Transplanting one seedling per hill at a spacing of 15X15 cm is recommended for for better grain yield.For seed production ,there is no problem for synchronization since two parents have very close flowering duration during the seed production seasons.Standard Hybrid seed production practices like staggered sowing of male parent,GA3 spray,supplementary pollination etc.should be followed to get higher seed yields.

1.Better grain quality and superior performance(>20%) over comparable checks. 2.Seed production of this Hybrid is easier and more profitable because of the high out crossing and higher seed yields. 3.Suitable for both wet and Dry Seasons in the irrigated and shallow favourable lowlands. 4.The Hybrid can tolerate excess stagnant water for 10-15 days at vegetative stage. 5.The Hybrid also showed very good performance under low light conditions and is suitable for low light conditions prevailling in Eastern India Including Odisha. 6.The Hybrid was recommended for late irrigated/shallow lowlands of Bihar and Gujurat in the 44th Rice Work Shop(DRR) 2009 and it was the first long duration rice hybrid to be relesed in the country.
